Laser Rejuvenation is a comfortable, non-ablative, non-invasive treatment. Unlike other laser treatments it does not wound the skin’s surface therefore virtually eliminating the need for complicated post treatment care. It gently heats the upper dermis well below your skin’s surface. 

Clients often describe the treatment as relaxing and therapeutic. You will experience a gentle warming of your skin’s surface during the procedure as the laser hand piece is moved back and forth about 1/2 inch above your skin.

We have multiple laser systems, which are world-leading providers and innovators of energy-based solutions for aesthetic and medical markets. In addition, we also have multiple hand pieces to choose from in order to safely treat skin types 1-5. These cutting-edge technologies are powerful and versatile in terms of the multi-application platform that offers a full spectrum of treatment methods to achieve highly-effective, reliable and safe results. 

On average, you may require four to six treatments depending on the location in order to achieve the results you are looking for. Each client’s condition and needs vary therefore a complimentary consultation will be required in order to determine your treatment plan.

You will see a more creamy, healthy complexion as large pores are reduced in size, and minor imperfections are diminished. The individual treatment results are subtle, but the overall effect of multiple treatments can be quite dramatic.

Typically patients describe the treatment as a gentle warming of the surface of the skin, therefore it does not require any anesthetics, creams or gels prior. However, we do consistently check in to ensure we are within the clients tolerance level. 

The area needs to be cleaned prior to your visit; all moisturizers and makeup washed off, and avoid using long wear or waterproof makeup a few days prior.

In some cases, you may be asked to shave the area to be treated so as not to interfere with the laser therapy. 

During the treatment you will be asked to wear protective goggles specific to our laser’s wavelength. 

IMPORTANT:

If you have any permanent makeup, tattoos or artificial fillers, you must notify your Skincare Specialist and clearly identify what and where.

If you are currently on the medication Accutane, or gold therapy in the last six months, you must make your laser specialist aware. This medication can make your skin more susceptible to damage from the laser. 

If you have had Microdermabrasion or Glycolic Acid treatments done recently it is also important to inform your laser specialist as this makes the skin more vascular and more sensitive, therefore extra cooling of the skin is required. 

If you have a history of herpes, treatment while there is active breakout of lesions will be avoided. For severe cases you may wish to consult with your physician and begin a course of prophylactic anti-viral therapy. 

Keep It Cool, Keep It Clean, Keep It Out of the Sun!

There is little to no down time after treatment. For the next 24-48 hours after treatment, you must be extra gentle with your skin.

Some clients experience few lasting side effects with laser treatments. The most commonly noticed are slight reddening and local swelling of the skin, similar to a sunburn. 

If you can’t keep out of the sun, please use sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30. Once there is no visible sign of irritation or redness you can resume all normal activities.
