HydraFacial uses a unique, patented Vortex-Fusion delivery system to exfoliate, extract and hydrate skin, and, the spiral design delivers painless extractions. The Vortex-Fusion technology uses both the spiral design of the HydroPeel® Tips and the HydraFacial propriety vacuum technology and serums, used in conjunction to create a vortex effect to easily dislodge and remove impurities while simultaneously delivery hydrating skin solutions.

The area needs to be cleaned prior to your visit; all makeup is washed off and avoid using long wear or waterproof makeup a few days prior.

IMPORTANT:

If there is a possibility that you may be or you know that you are pregnant, please notify your Medical Aesthetician, as certain serums will be replaced with others for your treatment.

If you have a history of herpes, treatment while there is active breakout of lesions will be avoided. For severe cases you may wish to consult with your physician and begin a course of prophylactic anti-viral therapy.

Keep It Cool, Keep It Clean, Keep It Out of the Sun!

There is little to no down time after treatment. For the next 24-48 hours after treatment, you must be extra gentle with your skin.

Your skin may experience temporary irritations, tightness, or redness. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 72 hours depending on skin sensitivity.

You may experience tingling and stinging during the treatment area. These sensations generally subside within three hours of treatment.

Aggressive exfoliations, waxing and products containing acids should be avoided in the treatment area for a minimum of two weeks and pre- and post-treatment.

The treatment area is more susceptible to sunburn, sun damage and hyperpigmentation. Avoid direct sun exposure and use a minimum of SPF 40 sunscreen.

Avoid the use of Retin-A type products pre- and post-treatment.

You will likely see results immediately after treatment and your skin will feel smooth and hydrated for one to four weeks. For improved, longer lasting results, consider take-home products and monthly HydraFacial treatments.

Client experience may vary. Some people may experience a delayed onset of the previously mentioned symptoms. Contact us immediately if any unusual side effects occur or if symptoms worsen over time.
