"I've been to The Laser Clinic® to see Jessica for everything from laser hair removal, to facials, to genesis treatments. Since going on a regular basis my skin cleared up immensely and am very pleased with the hair removal that has taken place on my chest and stomach as a result of the laser treatments. Jessica is very easy to talk to, always lets you know exactly what she's doing and why she's doing it."

I just wanted to drop you a short note to let you know how much I enjoyed my last facial. My face looks fresh and clean. I can't wait for my next facial!
Also thanks for being so thorough and attentive and for taking the time to have the doctor take a look at my skin. I can always rely on your exceptional service and professionalism.

Acne Vulgaris is a common condition that affects many people of varying age groups, mostly adolescents. Today, acne sufferers can choose a gentle, natural light treatment to add to or replace traditional medical therapies. The Harmony AFT uses a specialized blue light to treat acne effectively.
How Can Light Treat Acne?
Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT) allows clinicians to use light to treat a variety of dermal conditions safely. With AFT treatments the hand piece is passed over the skin, releasing gentle pulses of light. The AFT light heats the sebaceous gland, then destroys the gland and/or the bacteria within it.
What are the treatments like?
Treatments are fast, safe and relatively painless. AFT allows clinicians to treat the desired area with minimal epidermal (skin) damage. Treatments feel like a gentle rubber band snapping on the face. The time it takes to cover the average face is approximately 10-15 minutes. Downtime is virtually eliminated. One can easily have a treatment done over their lunch hour.
How long will a course of treatments take?
Every person is unique, even in the treatment of acne. The average treatment course would consist of 8-12 treatments done once to twice per week.
Is anyone a candidate for treatment?
Most people can be treated with AFT treatments, however there are a few specific cases where treatments are not advised. Individuals who are photosensitive or are on photosensitizing medications should not undergo AFT therapy. People who have been on Accutane need to be off the medication for 6 months prior to AFT treatments. Anyone who is pregnant should wait until after their pregnancy to have the treatments.
What are the risks?
Advances in technology allow clinicians to treat affected areas to the body with little or no damage to the surrounding skin. Side effects are rare but include hypo/ hyperpigmentation, blistering, redness and scarring. Sun exposure affects the rate of complications. It is imperative that individuals minimize their sun exposure for 4 weeks prior to and following treatments.
What are the costs?
Based on area to be covered ---------- $80.00 - $120.00
